Qaff Africa Foundation Ltd. (QAF) is modelled on the vision of ‘South-South Collaboration for Development’ a framework for collaboration among countries of the South in the social development space. Through this platform, the developing countries among themselves share knowledge, expertise, technical skills and resources to meet the development goals of other developing through concerted efforts. Here the proven, tested and successful models of development from India and other developing countries are taken to the Africa continent and re-adapted to make them effective for local need of the African region.
The main stakeholders in this collaboration are the Social technovators and social entrepreneurs who provide knowledge, skills, training and technology for transfer; local NGOs who readily implement these technologies on the ground; Government agencies who provide access to national infrastructure and are ready to adopt the proven model once successfully tested; and the traditional donors and multilateral organisations who facilitate this collaboration by provisioning funding and management.
